The rooom 3D Product Viewer is now available for OXID eSales.
OXID, rooom, and Smart Commerce have implemented a groundbreaking 3D extension for the OXID platform. This allows for easy, universal, and fast 3D product visualization in thousands of OXID shops. The configuration of the visualization is done directly through the OXID system's back office.
The "rooom 3D Product Viewer" presents products online in a more illustrative way than ever before. Shop visitors can view each product from all sides and project it into rooms with a click using Augmented Reality. The 3D visualization supports the purchase process, increases customer interest in the product, and reduces returns. In the next step, the integration of 3D spare parts search will be implemented, allowing for quick part selection, for example, in complex 3D representations of machines or equipment.
There are no special hardware requirements for the visualization on end devices. The 3D Product Viewer, combined with the very "fast" OXID Storefront, ensures smooth and fast three-dimensional product display with short loading times.
"Through this integration, our self-service platform for 3D visualizations is now available to OXID shop operators," says Hans Elstner, CEO of rooom AG.
