Smart Commerce joins forces with SAP Hybris expert niin

Leipzig, 1st December, 2017: In mid-2017, Smart Commerce launched its product expansion strategy with services on another market-leading eCommerce platform. SAP Hybris was chosen because international analysts see Hybris as the technical leader; Forrester Wave™ "B2B Commerce Suites For Midsize Organizations" (Q3 2017) describes SAP Hybris as the "Leader".  

The merger with niin enables Smart Commerce to achieve technical excellence in Intershop implementations as well as Hybris services for SAP. Both platforms are based on Java technologies. In combination with the Hybris expertise of niin and the methodical excellence of Smart Commerce, the "Smart eCommerce Implementation" in the version "SeCI for Hybris" was created as a first step. With this merger, Smart Commerce can significantly expand its eCommerce competencies and its network into the hubris world.  

CEO Dr. Vogt is looking forward to the merger: "We are very pleased that Ingo Körber comes on board with his SAP Hybris experience and his network as a board member. The conclusion of the partnership with SAP Hybris was announced in September. It aims at fast and cost-effective implementations of SAP Hybris Commerce in medium-sized businesses. Smart Commerce brings in his methodical excellence for SAP Hybris Commerce: The "Smart eCommerce Implementation (SeCI)" is an agile, proven process model for fast, cost-effective and low-risk eCommerce implementations. It has already been adapted to Hybris implementations, as has the agile "Smart eCommerce Test Automation (SeCTA)".

The next logical step after concluding the partnership with SAP is now the merger with SAP Hybris expert niin under the Smart Commerce SE brand. Both companies are already working together on several projects. niin GmbH was founded in 2015 by Ingo Körber and Dr. Nils Neugebauer.
