MIVO launches an innovative online marketplace for employees based on leading solutions from Intershop and Mirakl.

Jena, 28th October, 2021 - Smart Commerce has spearheaded the implementation of the online marketplace for MIVO mitarbeitervorteile GmbH (MIVO) using Intershop Commerce Platform and the Mirakl Marketplace Platform. MIVO operates in the Business to Business to Employee sector, providing benefits for around 3,000 companies and soon reaching one million registered users with its value-added portal in the DACH region. The project to strengthen MIVO's competitive position was carried out in collaboration with partners Intershop, known for market-leading B2B commerce solutions, and Mirakl, a globally leading provider of marketplace solutions, for the German market.

The realization of a modern online marketplace aims to establish a unique selling point within the e-commerce platforms for the working world. By considering increasing user expectations, the solutions from Intershop and Mirakl perfect the shopping experience, thereby optimizing customer satisfaction and retention. Within the newly created ecosystem, transactions are processed directly on the platform through an integrated shopping cart, eliminating the need to redirect users to third-party sites as before. This enables better recognition of customer needs, facilitating cross-selling and ultimately accelerating business growth.
