BAUR Versand: Switch to Intershop 7 from the existing Enfinity Suite 6.4 system

Thanks to a narrow common objective, there was clarity from the outset regarding the scope, costs and implementation period. The IT objectives were broken down into the areas of target architecture, services and IT projects and recorded in an “IT target map”. A new concept for the front-end layer (“Common API”) and for the back-end layer (“Managed Services API”) was developed and agreed. After switching the eCommerce platform to Intershop 7, the platform continued to achieve all previous key figures. In addition, the feature set of Intershop 7 could be used to the maximum to map the functionalities already implemented in the existing BAUR eCommerce platform.

Mister Spex: Migration to Intershop Version 7.8

Mister Spex has been using the eCommerce software Intershop Commerce Suite for its online stores for many years. As part of a workshop, Smart Commerce presented an efficient update strategy with Intershop 7 to Mister Spex developers, provided a guideline for simple updatability and outlined important rules for developers as well as tools and APIs. In these workshops, Smart Commerce ensures that updates for customer projects do not degenerate into huge, expensive projects, but can be realized within a manageable framework. The migration strategy was worked out in the workshop and Mister Spex subsequently migrated successfully to Intershop 7.8.
