SEO and Webanalytics: Analysis, Coaching and Consulting

At the beginning of the project, Raiffeisen Waren faced the challenge of optimizing their website technically for Google to achieve higher visibility in the long term. Additionally, the company aimed to optimize, expand, and tailor its newly established web analytics tool to its own needs. In both

areas, the relevant employees were to build up know-how to be able to support the specialist departments themselves. Together with the Raiffeisen Waren GmbH marketing team, the Smart Commerce Consulting team conducted a series of training sessions in the areas of web analytics and SEO. Furthermore, in-depth analyses of current tasks were carried out, followed by corresponding workshops with the client. Subsequently, the necessary steps were implemented on the development side and together with the Raiffeisen marketing team in the form of on-the-job training.

SEA und Employer Branding

Following the successful collaboration in the areas of web analytics and SEO, a lasting partnership in SEA and employer branding ensued. In the SEA area, Raiffeisen Waren employees were to be trained and, through on-the-job training with the Smart Commerce consultant team, plan and manage campaigns. In terms of employer branding, current and future measures to better reach the target groups were evaluated together with the HR and marketing team.


After the joint training sessions and continuous on-the-job training, the Raiffeisen Waren GmbH team now possesses the necessary know-how to optimize their own websites for search engines. The client is able to identify opportunities and take appropriate measures independently. The established tools and reports assist in this process. The web analytics tool captures all KPIs defined as relevant by the Raiffeisen team, which help analyze the performance of the website, campaigns, and business areas, draw conclusions, and take data-driven actions. Additionally, the marketing employees of Raiffeisen Waren GmbH are now capable of creating, optimizing, and evaluating their own Google Ads campaigns, thereby independently and effectively promoting products and websites. The HR team and marketing employees have gained a good understanding of their target groups and their needs. These results form a solid basis for further development in the area of employer branding.
